☮ 060; [video/action]

[Somewhere in between Violet and Ecruteak, a tremendous monster is looming over the landscape. A huge, bipedal, metallic...piece of junk.]

[Holding the Pokegear today is a slightly distressed Ampharos, seemingly not sure what to make of this mess. Closer to the scrap metal monstrosity is one trenchcoated Otacon, balancing on the tail of the Arbok currently acting as a stepladder.]

Just a little higher--I really should have installed a ladder here... [The cobra gives him a little more of a boost and Otacon reaches the machine's lower jaw of sorts, pulling himself into the cockpit.]

...okay. Now what?

You wouldn't happen to be fighting battles in space already, would you?

I didn't think so -- that would be a huge leap for a single decade. Space battles are pretty common in my world, though. In fact, this mobile suit was designed for both use on Earth and in space.

Huh? ...Oh, it can't reach escape velocity on its own. It has to ride a ship into space. It can re-enter the atmosphere on its own, though.

It has a couple of systems that help it mitigate the effects of re-entry. Most normal mobile suits would be ripped apart and disintegrated if they tried it without protective equipment.
